Teaching

I am deeply committed to teaching excellence, with experience at the University of Toronto and Northeastern University, and now at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). My teaching philosophy is rooted in the case-based method and experiential learning, creating an engaging and practical environment that equips students with real-world insights and skills.

I am passionate about developing and leading community programs to foster entrepreneurship and leadership within the creative industries. Programs such as the Entrepreneurship Accelerator and Leadership Accelerator at Women In Music Canada were designed to equip artists and professionals with essential business skills, industry insights, and leadership acumen through mentorship and hands-on learning. At SOCAN Foundation, initiatives such as the TD Incubator for Creative Entrepreneurship and Equity X Production Mentorship Program were launched to support diverse artists in building sustainable careers. The TD Incubator provides immersive entrepreneurial training, while the Equity X Production Mentorship Program, offering multi-level instruction in both English and French, addresses the underrepresentation of women in music production. These programs provide tailored pathways for creative professionals to navigate industry challenges, strengthening inclusivity and building a robust support network in the creative sector.
